How does AirNox work?

AirNox is a gas-inhalation device used to help reduce pain and tension during procedures. Nitrous oxide and oxygen inhalation sedation is described as allowing communication during treatment, but suitability and the sensation experienced vary between individuals.

Discuss it separately from anesthesia intended to induce deep sleep. It does not guarantee complete absence of pain or elimination of all risks.

Six things to check before and after treatment

01

Fasting requirements

Preparation depends on the accompanying procedure and medications. Follow the clinic’s instructions in advance.

02

Duration

Gas administration and observation times depend on the procedure and your condition.

03

Recovery check

Before leaving, have the medical team confirm that you have recovered sufficiently.

04

Driving and daily activities

Immediate driving cannot be assumed safe. Follow the medical team’s guidance based on your recovery and any other medications used.

05

Repeat use

Discuss repeat treatment and intervals with the medical team, considering accompanying procedures and your health.

06

Report discomfort

Dizziness or nausea may occur. Tell the medical team immediately if you feel unwell.

Before your visit
